Abstract: Video highlights of an interview with Kevin McNamee, Deputy Associate Athletic Director - Intercollegiate Sports, conducted by the George Mason University Oral History Program, University Libraries. In part 1, he reflects on the impact the NCAA Tournament had on him personally and professionally. In part 2, he discusses the reasons why the team was so successful in the 2005-06 season. In part 3, he talks about the local support for Mason at the Elite Eight game in Washington, DC against the University of Connecticut. In part 4, he discusses the magnitude and meaning of making it to the Final Four, for both the players and the staff. The entire interview is available for viewing at Special Collections and Archives, Fenwick Library.
