| Abstract: | Revised version of Joseph Saunders & Associates of Alexandria August 1960 report which presented the entire concept of the new college to be built at Fairfax. Included in the report were: the Program, which outlined the stages of construction (both initial and future); the Design Analysis, which detailed the site development (use of land, grading, and landscaping); building design (architecture, aesthetics, and construction); and mechanical design (heating, cooling, and plumbing); recommendations, and specifications. |
| Description: | 8" x 11" (21.5 cm x 28 cm) spiral-bound volume printed in dark blue containing 39 leaves. 15 illustrations featuring plats, floor plans, elevations, and photograph of architect's model. Document has manuscript annotations in pencil on pages 10, 11, 13, and 15 of the Program; page 5 of the Study; and a pencil drawing on the back of the last leaf. |
