| Abstract: | This paper explores the inter-relationship between knowledge capital, human capital as measured by education, and diversity and their affect on economic growth. It uses an OLS model to provide estimators of this impact and draw meaningful conclusions regarding the relative significance of each area for community investment. The author concludes that knowledge capital, human capital and diversity are all important in economic growth and that human capital formation seems to be overwhelmingly important with regard to output relative to the other variables, and that the measurement of diversity proves problematic, showing an inverse relationship with economic performance. |
