The novel follows the story of Sara Ellis and her two brothers as they embark on a journey to “make it” as a band in Los Angeles. Challenges to Sara’s relationships and ideas about success and the future arise with the return of her estranged father, a tense relationship with her mother, a new romance, and the changing dynamics between her and her brothers. | |
