Abstract:
Memo discussing Reston "A New City" and the Reston Virginia Foundation for Community Programs, Inc from November 1967. The memo is divided into two sections. The first section, entitled Introduction, briefly discusses what a "New City" is. The second section, entitled Statement, explains the purpose and structure of the foundation and its activities. The outlined activities for the Reston Foundation are operating programs, planning community enrichment programs and expecting the future needs of Reston.
