dc.description.abstract The technological advancement that is continually occurring has brought forth many unique innovations. Social networking is arguably one of the most impactful mediated technologies produced by the Information Age. Social media facilitates a profound approach to communication between humans across the globe. While social media platforms' usage grants countless benefits, researchers hold social media platforms responsible for the decline in mental health, especially adolescent users.
