Description:

Copper plate engraving, color. 20.7 in. x 17 in. (52.57 cm x 43.18 cm). Map depicting seventeenth-century Virginia, Maryland, and part of New Jersey. Titlepiece in upper right with cartouche featuring angelic figures. Heraldic symbol with crown in upper left just above scale. This Map has slightly different coloration than Map 3. C.
