Abstract:
Slide by an anonymous photographer entitled “Children playing on playground equipment, color” dated circa 1961. In this image, two boys can be seen playing on a wooden piece of playground equipment. The boys have on yellow shorts. One of the boys is wearing a white, blue and yellow tank top. The other is wearing a white and brown striped shirt. This piece of equipment consists of portions of logs that have been buried in upright positions. A log fence can be seen on the right side of the image. In the background, a bench and brick building can be seen. This playground is located in Reston, Virginia. Planned Community Archives Collection, 603.07
