dc.description.abstract Report from the National Audubon Society entitled "Survey and Nature Center Plan for Reston, Virginia" dated June 24, 1968. This report provides a proposal for the preservation of ten and a half acres in Reston, Virginia for a nature center. The excerpt provided here is entitled the "The Reston Concept." This section of the report focuses on how Reston should go about green space preservation. Four "pointers" have been proposed for Reston developers to keep in mind as preservation is attempted.
