dc.description.abstract Memo from Vernon J. Walker to Second Homeowners Planning and Budget Committee date October 2, 1967. In this memo, Walker discusses the need for a nature center in Reston, Virginia. Walker also requested three thousand dollars from the committee to finance programs the center would sponsor, which included a consultant services, periodic bulletins, special programs, environmental improvements for Reston, services to teachers, and interpretive walks.
