George Mason University Southwest Sector: Master Plan, August 2007

Abstract

Prepared in August 2007 by Ehrenkrantz Eckstut & Kuhn Architects, this document presents a master plan for buildings and environment in the Southwest Sector of the Fairfax Campus of George Mason University. It offers suggestions for additional improvements in building, landscape, traffic and parking, and other campus features. It contains twelve major subdivisions: Executive Summary, Master Plan Goals, Program Illustrative Plan, Design Principles, New Campus Places, Achievements of the Plan, Housing Phase Plans, Parking, Retail and Services, Appendix A: Retail Study, and Appendix B: Traffic & Transportation Study.
