Abstract:
This paper identifies and examines twelve laws incorporated in the science of generic design. They are the Laws of: Gradation, Universal Priors, Inherent Conflict, Limits, Validation, Success and Failure, Requisite Saliency, Requisite Variety, Triadic Compatibility, Structural Underconceptualization, Requisite Parsimony, and Uncorrelated Extremes.
