Abstract:
Warfield begins by pointing out that much systems thinking involves implicit ideas upon which the validity, credibility, and even the meaning of the products of the thought depend. Making explicit the (presently) Implicit In systems thinking is therefore necessary to give systems learning Its proper role in
systems education contexts. Warfield believes that much of this can be accomplished by taking the mathematical Theory of
Relations as an underlying language for expression. John N. Warfield Collection 35.31.
