dc.description.abstract	Signs of Submersion is a collection of short stories that seeks to illuminate how relationships function in not-so-everyday life. From a man in courtship with his sex doll, to a couple in the final act of their lives coping with dementia, to a young woman on the cusp of consummating her love for adult Simba from The Lion King, these stories explore the dysfunction, heartbreak, and unexpected surprises of love in the contemporary world and beyond.
