Remembering Claude Shannon

This study is an attempt to record critical recollections of Claude Shannon and the influence his work had on so many in mathematics, information technology and related fields. Your contribution will allow others, now and in the future, to understand the origin of new theories and technologies from his ideas and the ideas of his colleagues and associates. The archive of contributions will also serve as a lasting memorial to an ingenious and important figure in the history of computing and mathematics.
