Abstract
Relationships Between Use and Conservation of Energy and Urban Structure, by Dr. Jose Lopes de Oliveira, President, BNH, at the 4th Conference of INTA, International New Towns Association, in Cairo, Egypt, October 1980. This paper deals with the relationships between the energy problem and the urban problem in terms of an individual view of the integrated treatment given to the social, economic, physical, and institutional sectors of the III National Development Plan of Brazil for 1980-1985 and considered from the angle of the overall development project of Brazilian society.
