Abstract
Community festival reaching the banks of Washington Plaza, 1988. In foreground, murky lake on which a line of canoes and paddleboats float, tied up to the docks; in center many stands and pavilions with brightly-colored umbrellas are set up along the lake, and dozens of people mill throughout; in background mature trees frame a brick and cinder block apartment building, with lamppost and smoke visible.
