Abstract
Slide by an anonymous “The Shores Town homes under construction, foundation in foreground” dated August 1980. This is an image of the Shores townhouse development in Reston, Virginia. In the foreground, the foundation for a fountain can be seen. The foundation is partially finished. Pipes are partially exposed, and some pieces of piping have yet to be installed. In the background across the lake, the construction of two clusters of townhouses can be seen. Each cluster is in a different stage of construction. Planned Community Archives Collection, 597.01
