Abstract
Booklet from the Columbia Conference Committee of the Roles Committee entitled "First Annual Columbia Conference on Community Governance" dated March 1972. This booklet was produced for the Columbia Conference on Community Government held in Columbia, Maryland from May 24 to 25, 1972. The Conference Committee of the Roles Committee, whose purpose was to evaluate the governance structure of Columbia, organized this conference. The committee also organized seven pre-conference neighborhood meetings, which where used to discuss governance Columbia. The booklet includes the conference agenda, a list of speakers and committee members, survey data, summaries of pre-conference meetings and recommendations from the Roles Committee.
