Letter to Rhoda Barnes from her husband Milton Barnes. Milton dicusses the fall of both Richmond and Petersburg VA to the Union Army. He also discusses General Robert E. Lees retreat from Richmond southwestward to unite with fellow conferderate General Joseph E. Johnston in North Carolina.
