dc.description.abstract | Like a constellation of variable stars, these poems grow brighter and darker, depending on their proximity to loss. Throughout, the poems grapple with various kinds of losses, and attempt to find solace and half-answers in likely and unlikely places, including the natural world. In curating a collection of items through a series of Appendices, the poems look for a place for the things which cannot be held, but which anyone who has experienced a loss would want to retain. | |
