dc.description.abstract | Letter to Rhoda Barnes from her husband Milton Barnes. Upon setting up camp just outside of Nashville, Milton recalls how he was in this same location two and one-half years ago. As he and his fellow soldiers were dispirited at that time, they are now upbeat as the war is coming to an end. The remaining part of the letter discusses family, church, and home matters. | |
