In the first segment Warfield discuses the importance of having solid scientific foundations before coming up with theory and suggests that some of the mistakes that are made in the field of science are the result of not working with proper foundations. In the second segment, Warfield discusses the foundations of science by giving examples through partitioning. Overall, he concludes, a foundation should give you starting point for constructing theory. Original VHS located in the John N. Warfield Collection Box 66.
