Intimacies
Abstract
This thesis explores intimacy and relationships over the course of three sections. The first section is focused primarily on sound and image and looks at connections between the speaker and many different iterations of the ‘you’ or other. The second section utilizes a sonnet crown to explore a relationship between the speaker and one specific other. The final section looks at the speaker’s relationship to self through use of multiple itinerary poems, erasure, and collaboration with other works and voices.
