dc.description.abstractThis thesis is a collection of poetry exploring transformation and monstrousness. Included are poems about my childhood, women from folklore, and a series of poems set in museums. The purpose for the thesis is to get a start on my first poetry collection. Themes include ideas of trauma, what makes a monster, and growth or change.
