dc.description.abstractSlide by an anonymous photographer entitled “Father and young children in front of sculpture at Lake Anne Plaza” dated May 1971. This is an image of a father and two children sitting near the sculpture at Lake Anne Plaza, formerly known as Washington Plaza, in Reston, Virginia. This sculpture, which is also a fountain, was designed by James Rossant and constructed 1964. The man and two children are eating on the sculpture. There are many other people visible behind and on either side of the sculpture. There is some water pooled around the base of the sculpture. Planned Community Archives Collection, 583.16
