Milton describes his journey from Strasburg, Virginia, to a camp near Woodstock, Virginia, during which he meets up with his unit, the 62nd Ohio Volunteers. Also detailed in this letter is his health, news about soldiers, campaigns, Virginians, and the Ohio newspaper the Jeffersonian.
