Herndon High School originally served as the main high school for Reston, Virginia until South Lakes High School was constructed. Currently, Herndon High School services the northern part of Reston. The school building is visible in the background of the image. A sign for the school is visible in the foreground. The sign announces that Herndon High School is the home of the hornets.
