dc.description.abstract	This is a work of fiction. Fifteen-year-old identical twin girls, Jess and Tess Gardner, and their father drift from house to house and from town to town. Since the disappearance of their mother four years ago, he can’t seem to hold a job. He’s in a downward spiral and taking them down with him. Jess has had enough, given him too many chances, and things have gone from bad, to worse, to dire. She devises a plan to save her and her sister from their carnival-like existence but her world is turned upside down when she learns the whole story behind his downfall. Can she forgive him now that she knows the truth? Is he the only one hiding something?
