It allows researchers and students to search and retrieve not only Mason’s own collection but also other institutions’ geospatial data collection. This new portal was built with Open Geospatial Portal (OGP) Application, a multi-institutional open source collaboration for finding and sharing geospatial data. This poster session illustrates the steps taken to develop this portal including infrastructure and skills.
