This thesis explores rampant socio-political-economic-religious-sexual-ideological border jumping. The poetry, fiction, and nonfiction pieces in this thesis feature accidental, purposeful, and seemingly unavoidable acts of trespass and transgression. In the process of researching and writing this thesis, the author completed Spanish-English translations of the late Mexican poet Jaime Sabines and implemented a wide range of linguistic code-switching.enBordersTrespassWomenImmigrantsQueerTransgressionActs of TrespassThesis
