Abstract
This is a photograph from December 17, 1968 by an anonymous photographer shows Gulf Reston, Inc. Chairman of the Board Robert Ryan receiving a painting of Reston, Virginia from two representatives of General Electric. General Electric had commissioned the painting for a calendar. In this image, four men can be seen surrounded a painting of Lake Anne with the village center in the background of it. Also, several plans for Reston can be seen in the background, including the Reston Master Plan. Planned Community Archives Collection, 460.39
