Abstract
Slide by an anonymous photographer entitled “Construction on olympic pool and the Goodman Cluster as seen from the Heron House” dated March 1965. This is an image of the construction of the Goodman Cluster in Reston, Virginia. The photograph was taken from on top of Heron House. The Goodman Cluster, known now as Hickory Cluster, is visible in the background. This development was designed by Charles M. Goodman. The apartment buildings in this cluster are under construction. In the foreground, a row of townhouses and a pool can be seen. Each of these structures is under construction. Construction materials and a few cars can be seen throughout the image.
