Abstract
Office Workbook for the Reston Low Income Housing Demonstration Program, Alternate Construction Methods, Norman Rowland, circa 1969. This item includes an overview of the uses of concrete in the manufacture of housing, as well as a discussion of Binishells, the Econoco System and the Uniment concept of manufacture. The report also includes a discussion of Sectionalized Housing, and interviews with fourteen major home manufacturing companies to ascertain their interest in building homes in Reston, VA.
