dc.description.abstractLed Massacres de Septembre (the September Massacre) was first published in 1907. Written by journalist G. Lenôtre (Louis Léon Théodore Gosselin), the book tells of the summary executions of as many as 1,300 prisoners in Paris in September 1792 following the French Revolution.
