dc.description.abstractSlide by an anonymous photographer entitled “Kings Dominion and Firestone sponsored hot air balloon” dated 1976. In the center of the image, there is a red hot-air balloon with Firestone written in white on it. The balloon is in the process of being filled. People can be seen working with the balloon to aid in its filling. Both Kings Dominion and Firestone sponsored the balloon for the bicentennial air show. Planned Community Archives Collection, 568.08
