dc.description.abstract | Article by Paul VanBuskirk, Lecturer at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, entitled "European Nations are Solving Their Urban Problems" that is dated September 1970. This article details a research trip that VanBuskirk took to Europe to study urban planning and new towns. VanBuskirk concludes that European countries have a firm grasp of urban planning issues. He also suggests that the United States could learn from the examples of the European countries he visited. A letter from VanBuskirk accompanies this article.
