dc.description.abstractSlide by an anonymous photographer entitled “Brown's Chapel" dated October 1979. This is an image of Brown’s Chapel in Reston, Virginia. Brown’s Chapel was built circa 1879 in Fairfax County, Virginia. In 1968, Brown’s Chapel was moved from its original location at the intersection of Route Seven and Baron Cameron Avenue to a new location in Reston, Virginia near Lake Anne Village Center on Baron Cameron Avenue. Currently this building is owned and rented out by the Reston Association. The chapel is visible in the center of the image. A white van is parked near the chapel on the chapel's driveway.
