dc.description.abstractAmerican Egyptomania was a joint project of the Center for History and New Media, the English Department at George Mason University and Professor Scott Trafton, and the College of Arts and Sciences' Technology Across the Curriculum program (TAC). This website is devoted to exploring American fascination with Egypt and its history. It includes primary source documents, a list of secondary literature, and a list of web resources. Hosted at chnm.gmu.edu/egyptomania.
