dc.description.abstract	Demand Projections and Economic Modeling for New and Renewing Communities, by Michael C. Ahn. The purpose of this paper is to provide a structural delineation of concepts which are generally applied. Two concepts will be discussed: satellite new towns that depend on an existing cultural and economic urban center and freestanding new towns that are completely independent of any existing cities.
