Report from the Jewish Agency Settlement Department entitled "The Industrial Village: A New Form of Settlement… A New Form of Opportunity for Aliyah" from 1974. This report discusses a new form of settlement, the industrial village, which the Jewish Agency Settlement Department was developing at the time of publication to deal with aliyah, or Jewish immigration to Israel. An Industrial Village is defined, and its characteristics, such as being a closed society, having cooperation in community life and mutual ownership of industrial facilities, are explained. The report also contains conceptual drawings of a possibly industrial village. Planned Community Archives Collection, 449.06.
