| dc.description.abstract | Report by an anonymous author, probably with the Department of Housing and Urban Development, entitled "Executive Summary: San Antonio Ranch New Town" dated November 4, 1973. This report discusses the background, current progress, proposed financing plans, and key issues and concerns for the San Antonio Ranch Development near San Antonio Texas. This development was fraught with lawsuits over environmental issues. In the mid 1980's, the development failed, and over four thousand acres of San Antonio Ranch ended up becoming apart of Government Canyon State Natural Area.
