dc.description.abstractOffice Workbook for the Reston Low Income Housing Demonstration Program, Proposed Schematic Designs, Norman Rowland, circa 1969. This folder contains descriptions of company's proposed plans for low-income housing in Reston, VA. This item is a description of the plan propsed by Conrad Engineers, an analysis of the designs, and a comparison to the F.H.A. standards for low income housing. The last section is a critique of the plans, and the reasons for dismissing Conrad Engineers as a viable option in Reston's development. Contains blue-print copies of hand-drawn plans and graphics.
