dc.description.abstract | Slide by an anonymous photographer entitled “Newspaper clippings and headlines regarding Reston's national significance” dated April 1967. This is an image of several newspaper clippings concerning Reston, Virginia. The image has the title “Reston’s Influence Felt Throughout the United States.” Three titles for articles are visible in this image. They are; “New Town in Virginia Draws National Attention; “Reston, Va – Pioneer Of Cities in the Country; “New Town Rising From Virginia Farmlands Excites World Builders.” Another article is visible at the bottom right corner of the image, but the full title is not visible. All that can be seen is “New Towns.” Over two of the articles are the words Illinois and Connecticut, which represent which state these articles came from.
