dc.description.abstractPress release from the Reston Land Corporation from November 30, 1989 entitled "Reston Fellowship Foundation Receives Mobil Foundation Gift." This press release discusses a one thousand dollar gift from the Mobil Foundation to the Reston Fellowship Foundation, which was established by the Lutheran Laymen's Fellowship in 1960 as a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing adequate housing for low to moderate income elderly. The Fellowship Foundation, at the time of this press release, had established five "Fellowship Houses" in Virginia and Maryland. Planned Community Archives Collection, 456.01.
